performance and installation
Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park
"In the wind are flags, kites, prayers, greetings for the nomads, traveling sails, cloths to protect, laundries to dry: a whole different family of words to keep the story of every man alive in the eyes."
Set to music by Meike Clarelli, the text by Claudia Losi, has been interpreted by the voices of thirty women along a path on the mountain. The female voices filled the space with a polyphonic song, sometimes perfectly audible, other times broken up and dismantled by the wind, by the distances, by the shapes of the landscape. That small portion of Mount Bulgheria turned into a natural theater thank to an execution that intertwined physical space and textual maps.
Temporary site-specific installation (Licusati area, west of Monte Bulgheria) 30 windsocks (1.5 meters, 3 meters, 2 meters) rotating metal supports (various sizes)
Materials: nylon risptop different weights, polyester and steel; supports in iron, aluminum and steel.
