Mukat, 2008
Bone clay
Installation dimensions variable
Execution by Emilio Romano
Pieces of white Mukat is the name of an Amerindian people that hunted whales off the coasts of North America. The pieces of the dismembered whale body, its thick, fatty parts, light and energy sullied with blood, have the same name, Mukat. Pieces of white ceramic scattered on the ground, as if after a butchering in which no knives or blades were used, only words. Thoughts torn to pieces, to feed on.
