“Amulets is a long theory of small sculptures made by the artist during the darkest time of the Spring pandemic in 2020. The characters undergo a continuous metamorphosis, sometimes beasts and sometimes humans, a brief multitude of metamorphic beings bringing with it amazement above all else, occasionally fear. Each of these sculptures/ amulets inaugurates an alphabet like children do, each word is unique, metamorphosis is expressed constantly, without respite.”
