Phase 2: INSTALLATION

The intervention was conceived for several of Radicondoli’s chiassini: covered alleyways that branch off from the main street like ribs from a spine, connecting the two sides of the village.

Small watercolour figures of varying sizes are drawn on the less refined sections of the walls, including concrete surfaces and areas of crumbling plaster. The original images were created by tearing and assembling fragments of paper and mostly depict fantastical beings in which human profiles merge with other living forms, both animal and vegetal.

They are real or imaginary creatures that seem to have taken up residence here, or perhaps simply passed through these places.
