Asking Shelter consists of a series of hut-like structures of different sizes and numbers, made by assembling bronze castings of rose branches. Branches of various rose bushes, wild and domestic, young or woody. Each branch is unique in form and size. The shapes echo those of archetypal shelters, with simple lines, some seeming to have been drawn by a child or thought of in a dream: shelters that can ideally protect but can hurt if proper care is not taken.
