Event part of the 2026 celebrations of Europe Day in Venice—a space for democracy, promoted by the City of Venice in collaboration with the Council of Europe, the European Parliament, and the European Commission.
The permanent Ocean Schools program (the educational programme run by Ocean Space in Venice) began in autumn 2025, at the start of the school year. It offered free training sessions for teachers of all educational levels, available both live via webinar and on demand.
The interdisciplinary program focused on biodiversity and involved students aged 3 to 19. The project invited the school community to explore these forms of communication through artistic and scientific approaches. Four learning pathways, designed for different school levels and led by artist Claudia Losi, concluded in May 2026, during the International Day for Biological Diversity, with a final event held both at Ocean Space and online.
The event, entitled “Quante forme al mondo?”, has been part of the celebrations for Europe Day 2026 in Venice — a space dedicated to democracy, organised by the City of Venice.
A special thanks to Valeria Bottalico.
